Oven Roasted Honey Mustard Brussels Sprouts

A honey mustard sauce drizzled over the oven roasted brussels sprouts makes a delicious side dish to any meal.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 (F)
  2. Halve or quarter the brussels sprouts and place them on a cookie sheet (or two)
  3. Drizzle oil over the brussels sprouts and sprinkle with salt
  4. “Toss” (or stir) them on the cookie sheet so that the oil and salt coat them evenly
  5. Bake them for 30-40 minutes, until cooked through and slightly charred
  6. While the brussels sprouts are cooking, make the sauce
  7. In a mason jar, combine the honey, oil, and mustard
  8. Put the lid on the mason jar and shake until combined
  9. Add salt and pepper, to taste
  10. When the brussels sprouts are cooked, drizzle half the sauce over them
  11. Taste one and decide if you want more sauce, add more as needed

Notes

When baking the brussels sprouts, you want them in a single layer so they cook evenly.
